View Full Version : Is there a way to manually flush memory buffers in layout during render?

Hi There

I have a scene rendering particles with HVs (lots of them) in LW10.1. 4000 frames long. But every 300 frames approx it crashes.

I've tried breaking the scene into lots of 200 frames and putting them all in the render-Q, but it hasn't helped.

Perhaps there is a way I can intersperse in the render-Q a dummy scene that would act to manually flush the memory buffers? Perhaps that dummy scene includes an L-script or a node that would achieve this?

Any help most appreciated!

Thanks:D
