I've seen this short, it was fantastic, beautiful story and great visuals. A perfect example of what one man with a vision and LightWave can do. I wish Richard all the best at the film festivals, I'm sure it will do well.

Huh? Game controller? Why wasn't I informed? ;-)

But no, really, what is he reffering to? I think I want one...

Hmmm, they took a while to get around to putting up an article... lol! :D

I was emailing Richard last night - Apparently the Spain event went pretty well, with plenty of people watching it and commenting. I'm sure he'll be back soon and update everybody on how it went.

Perhaps the GameDevice plugin?
http://walen.se/gamedevice/index.html

Maybe just a standard game pad with programmable buttons.

Does anyone know when the full film is going to be released?

It is doing Europe’s cinema festival circuit (England and now Spain).

Richard will be here, in Portugal, next week to meet me.
Do you need to send any special message?
:)

If you could, please ask him when the full film will be made available for the rest of us to see online.

The environments and atmospheric effects are what really bring this film to life for me and I can't wait to see more of it.

Will do!
Even better, I'll lead him to this thread and maybe he would let you know all about your questions! :hey:

He’ll arrive here next Thuesday, so don’t expect news any time sooner!

Hey, thanks for your comments :). Yes I was just referring to a standard game pad with programmable buttons. At first I tried it as a bit of a gimmick, but now can't do without it.

Can't wait to show you the full thing once its done its festival run. Or hopefully it'll be accepted into a fest near you. How long this will be depends on how well it's going on the circuit. I really appreciate your interest in seeing the film and hopefully I won't have to make you wait too long. Lucky Ben gets to see it next week!

Spain was/is awesome! It showed in a grand old theatre that dates back to the 15 century. The festival has it's origins as a religious festival, all this set an amazing atmosphere for screening a sci-fi creation myth.

Just a note that if I'm not replying to forums/email/facebook I'm having problems connecting in hotels. cheers.

That would be cool! Hopefully it's part of the main presentation so those if us who can't make it to the event can view it live, if not then I guess the rest of us will have to wait until it's done the rounds at the festivals.

Thanks for this Richard! It's great to help you share the film with the North American audience. I love the movie and it is so poetic and beautiful visually and musically. Everyone who watches it has a great reaction.

The impressive nature of an individual artist doing something like this is so poignant. It is the purest form of the word "auteur".

Hats of to you!
