How can i avoid this ?
If this is not a known issue i will be happy to supply more info and a scene example.

I have an object that renders over a background image.
If i set MB passes to 12 it looks like the original footage.
Anything lover makes the background image darker :help:

There is DOF in the scene, i suspect that has something to do with it ?

futhermore, is there any setting that i can set that excludes background image from everything. f.ex. Soft Filter.

thanks for any help
Jeremy

The behavior may well be a bug. If it bothers you, file a bug report (regardless of whether it occurs in 9.6 or not, though chances of it being fixed appear better if it's new behavior).
