I am currently trying to create some realistic fire and smoke within Lightwave 10.1 (Mac) and I come across a website http://www.presetcentral.com and downloaded a fireball preset. Immediately, Lightwave asked me for a IFW2 plug-in. I had a search on the net and found out that the plug-in consists of lots of new procedural textures etc but i was wondering if it supports Lightwave 10.1 for the mac and is worth purchasing as it said it was bout $89?

Many thanks

Thanks for that, I have purchased them but don't know how to install them, ive tried loading the plug in files and dragging the presets to various folders and I keep getting the message, "cannot load external plug in"

I have a folder with all .p files and and folder full of .pst files but don't know what to do with them as I am new to external plugins :(

Many thanks

Alt-F11.
Scan the directory into which you placed the plugins.
Use them from all points that allow use of the T or Nodes.

Macintosh UB MacOS X plugins must have extension .plugin
.p extension means it is Windows or PowerPC CFM plugin.
