View Full Version : Texture Displacement With Weight Map Help

Have these horse reigns with weight map applied. Been trying to have the orange ends move a bit while keeping the gray ends still using the texture displacement deformer. How would you set up the the texture to only influence the orange area? Thanks.

Yup. Check the scene file.

In the Object's Deform Tab I used Nodes and the Displacement Modifier "Normal Displacement" located on bottom, which is the one active when you open the scene.

To see the Nodes, turn off the modifier and turn on nodes. I added a Curve Node after the Weight Map node, for better control of the fallof, without having to change the Weight Map.
