In layout, an object is not rendering with all surfaces displaying correctly. I created the text "vision" in modeler without a texture, just solid surface. It appears correctly in modeler and in layout/shaded solid. When using VPR - the "s" loses it's front face (become see through). Any idea why and what I can do about this?
Thanks!

Select the poly that makes up the front face of the "S" and triple it (SHIFT+T).

Hello! Indeed the screen-shot in modeler is showing smoothing issues (probably due to triple poly or non_planar poly).

Have you try to lowering the smoothing angle of the surface? And if your surface is double sided, maybe uncheck double sided to see if each normal are in the right direction.

EDIT: too slow in my answer! ^^

And does an F9 render show the same thing? It would be nice to know if this is a VPR specific issue or not.

if triple (Shift+T) helps, you can try to merge polys then (Shift+Z) again. sounds magic, but works...
