View Full Version : Modeler 10.1 32bit - Nasty OpenGL Crashes

We have two machines running the same card - Nvidia 9800 GT with the 280.26 driver ... same version of LW, same everything pretty much.

Sometimes the slightest thing in Modeler, but often navigating with the LMB down and dragging, will cause, presumably, the OGL to crash - the screens turn into a mosaic of crud, and the only way out is a hard restart.

Nothing else does this to the display, just Modeler ... and it's the same on both machines. Happens pretty frequently, daily in fact.

Has anyone else seen this, or having better luck with earlier drivers, or are there configs for the driver which I may not have set, but are needed?

Thanks.

Julian.

Check out whether Legacy OpenGL toggle changes anything..

The 28x.xx drivers series for me have a been a little buggy. Windows 7 sometimes recover from some crash with those nvidia drivers. Geforce GTX 560 Ti here.

That was set to off, so we'll give that a go with it on - thank you.

Hmm ... these continue to happen, several per week, outside of LW, so something else is tripping the driver up, I guess ...

Driver roll back. I use 266.66 because everything later had some kind of bug

That one is specifically listed for the GeForce 500 Series GTX 560 Ti ... we have 9800 GT ...
