Hello, i suggest you :

Inside LW 7 (Dan Ablan)
It is a very good book, with basic-midle concepts of LW.
You could get on Amazon, or any Book store, like Barns & nobles or Boarders.

The DVD's or VHS from Desktop images "Get Started on LW" are really good too.

Good Luck

I was wondering if anyone knew of free training and tutorials geared more towards begginers, I have seen the newtek ones, but they use a lot of keyboard shortcuts and things like that I am just getting into this, and would like to learn, but I don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on learning materials rigth now.

We know that lw training is expensive so we have disgned very low costs in training and you could have financial and credit with us.

The training in Mexico is really cheap!!!

And its really important to know and handell the shortcuts
