View Full Version : Maya FBX to LW

If I export a Maya FBX file and load it into Layout, the cameras should match between the two correct?

If they don't, what am I missing? They're close but I'm expecting a pixel per pixel match.

A long time ago I saw an image that explained how the Maya camera's info translates to LightWave's but I can't find it now. And Jeremy Hardin's "import_ma_cam" script is offline.

they will match..i am talking here about LW 10.1

If you still see missmatches, take the value from Angle of View in Maya and match it to Horizontal FOV value in LWs camera.
