Hey all,

I just 'discovered' this little gem at http://pixlr.com/editor/. It has layers, can open photoshop files, history stack, some effects, ... Really cool and free :D!

Greetings,
Sigurd

interesting... but i'm always thinking about this: what happens exactly with the processed material on such "cloud" apps? can we be sure about what will happen after part of the data - or in this case - maybe even the entire image material has been sent to a server? probably not. so it's OK for private use if you are aware of the risks, but i would never recommend to use it for a professional project with a minimum of confidentiality.

cheers

I agree, but for homework or so it should be fine. Most effects happen within your browser (flash) and aren't send over to a server I guess. What happens on the moment of saving is another story. We have no guarantee about that part.

Here's another one: http://www.sumopaint.com/home/

I prefer pixlr, though.
