View Full Version : rendering textures w/ decals in LW10

hey guys,

I was playing around in lightwave 10 with bump maps and making decals with alpha channels. anyway I did some tests and some were successful, but one went weird.
In the picture I'll put with this post you can see two polygons, they're labeled as exactly the same surface so they both have a concrete texture (with bump map), and a moss decal(with alpha channels for transparency).
For some reason the left one is acting all weird, but the left is fine. why is that? like I said before, they're listed in surface editor as the same surface so they should be identical. any help appreciated.

Looks like you might have overlapping polygons on the left side.
