Hi guys ...

you know how they say there are no dumb questions? Well I think we should make an exception for this post lol ;-)

Just unsure of what parts of my system I need to improve to get faster VPR results. I have a pretty low end video card on a 6-core system .. im thinkin its the video cards fault lol....

any feedback?

As far as i know the vpr is cpu based. so the fastest cpu you can afford and ram would always help. Not sure if the video card would have any effect on vpr at all.

true, VPR utilizes CPUs for rendering and it does that pretty well since it keeps them busy at 100% , I have 16 threads and they all work at 100% while previewing. So upgrading CPU, overclocking or getting a dual CPU system would definitely improve VPR performance.
