Could be oversaturation.
If you have a TBC ahead of the VT card, check your saturation levels.

Looks like perfectly normal field rendered footage to me, should look fine while in play.

I'm with Danner.
Does it show this way when playing?

What this is, is an i just hit Print Screen while playing the video and cropped out the rest of my screen.

So the answer is yes it does do this while playing including after I render it do DVD and watch it on TV.

Does it have anything to do with wheter or not I render it to Progressive or Field??

TIA

The fields look like they are reversed. In many cases people miss this when they play the video on their computer screens but when it goes to DVD encoding in mpgeg2, it flips the field dominance which makes things worse then they really are.

I would pull the defielding filter over top of this clip and check it again and see.

Would be cool to have more options with fields control in VT-Edit directly without the use of crutons. Somewhere in the layer properties pannel perhaps??
