View Full Version : Anyone ever rigged a golfer?

Hi all,
As the title states Anyone ever rigged a golfer? And if so do you have any hints for good shoulder deformation? It's such a strange stance that I keep getting all kinds of weirdness along with body parts breaking through the clothing etc. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Usually if I have a weird position that is difficult to get to from the standard T pose while rigging, i alter the model to be closer to that position and rig from there instead. For something like that you could start with the model in an A pose with the arms out in front, then do your rigging.

oooo -- I've been wondering about this for a while. Hunter: if you ever find a solution, I'll be very interested.

maybe Darth Vader light saber tutorial?

Now get Darth to swing at a golf ball, and we've got it, although his cape might get in the way. :)

I wonder if you could rotoscope one of those swing sequences you see in Golf Digest.

Thanks everybody! I'll be looking into all these bits of advice. I'll let you know how it goes.
Vader: "Hand me my pitching wedge saber." NNNNOOOOOOOoooooooo! I keep slicing it!" :)
