View Full Version : Subpatches to 3D Coat...?

How do I save a subpatched model and keep it's geometry when going into 3D Coat? It is there in subpatch when I import it into 3D Coat, but when I delete the unused UV maps it disappears.

The reason I delete the UV Maps is that I want to start from scratch in 3D Coat and create my UV in 3D Coat. But, I need the smooth mesh...having trouble with the toes otherwise.

I figure someone has seen this before and is why I'm coming here before going to the 3D Coat forums. I am assuming the subpatch UV map is being deleted when I delete all unused weight maps in 3D Coat.

Any takers? I think the subpatch weight map is being deleted in 3D Coat when I delete unused UVs, but I think my only solution in this case is to tighten up the toes.
