Speed Modelling Challenge #131 - Decorating.

1. Every week there will be a subject for you to model along with a time limit. You should spend no longer than the allocated time, then post a render of your model. As in most challenges like this, your honesty on modelling times is essential. How you interpret the brief is up to you as long as the final model conforms to what is asked for.
2. Post a wireframe and a render at 800x600 or larger.
3. LightWave must be used for modelling. 3rd party Plug ins are allowed.
4. You can enter as many times as you like, posting each in this thread. If you run over the time, the model can still be posted but won't be subject to the judging.
5. Time spent on texturing, setting up a scene for a render and rendering is not included in the allocated period.

This week's topic is: Decorating.

Love it or hate it, with the sun actually coming through the windows, it's time for some decorating! So it's rollers, paint, brushes, steps, scrapers, radios or even cups of tea. Surprise me!

Time Limit - 60 minutes.

Deadline - Wed. 3rd August 2011. 22:00 G.M.T.

Man, I am going to have to enter this one. I halfway finished three models for the summer party and multimeter challenges and then I went on vacation. I have been off this forum for a week. Well done xswampyx.

Thanks Iain. Nice topic.

On to the winner!

Iain - Icing bag. Harder to model than it looks me thinks. Great idea.

Akaracquel - Strawberry. Looks great, finely detailed lights and a artful render. Great approach.

Iain - Roller #1. Spot on! The more I get to do some modeling, the more I appreciate yours.

Iain_r - Roller #2. Model is good, could do with some more detail on the roller ends. But I'm just nitpicking.

Rabbitpenny - Flamingos. Lovely poly-flow around the eyes/head/beak. really adds to the render. I don't get the decorating theme, But then I haven't seen your house.

BigHache - Trend cutter. Ahh power tools, my favorite. Nice flow as well, I think you would have to be superhuman to model the whole thing in an hour.

The winner is....

Iain - Roller #1, 15 mins of pure excellence.

Thanks all, and well done.

Thank you but the winner would of course have been the brush in the first post!

Good work all
