Please excuse my ignorance but I've been trying to learn LCW and have run into a problem. I have set "convert color space to Linear" to all sRGB as a few have suggested. I set "Display Color Space" to sRGB to match my computer monitor but it looks all washed out. VPR looks a lot nicer when I leave "Display Color Space" to Linear. Is this wrong?

Nevermind... I read your post wrong... it seems you have the correct settings... Do you happen to have any HDRI lightprobe in your scene?

EDIT: Another important thing is that if you want to convert older content into LCW, you have to redo your lighting. Oh and, yes... VPR should look correct with sRGB setting on "Display Color Space". Something is fishy with your scene.

Setting Ambient Intensity to 0% helps a bit.

Yes, I'm using a spherical probe. The top is display set to linear and the bottom set to sRGB. I like the extra contrast of the top but is this Lightwave applying a negative gamma curve like I would have done in a compositor anyway? How am I getting (extra dynamic range/more photoreal) by using the settings from the bottom picture. Thanks for any help.

Neither of those images look correct. Can you post the testcontent + the spherical probe?

Thanks Cageman! You nailed it with the HDRI being in sRGB space. Great tip on the reflections too!

Thanks! :)

And for others viewing this thread, I sent realgray a Colorspace workflow video that I did last week... it hasn't been released to the public yet.
