Hello, I read an article recently from cgsociety and pixars renderman.

http://features.cgsociety.org/story_custom.php?story_id=5615

Could anyone elaborate on this? How LW stand's in regards to the new technology. There's very little technical information in regards to the new rendering method. Im using LW 9.5 and the most advanced solution to my understanding is raytracing.

A quick question, anyone got any texturing tutorials overall for LW? Using the node editor. Aswell as explaining to me how to apply a occlution to a texture, it's not quite the same as the other program's ive used before.

Cheerio!

If you want tho test the same base tech, with some limitations try Dynamic AO of DPontonnier.

Cheerio! Thanks, hey Lightman, do you know of any tutorial just showing how to add a simple occlution node? It does not work the same way as it used to in maya.
