Another ultra-generous act from Mike Green, he has just helped LightwaveCamera exporter for OctanePowertools and simply saved the day ...well may be whole business for this summer..

Thanks Mike... for your time and effort... having fellow LWers like yourself, one the of the major reasons why we still LWing like first day..

--Indirect thanks for all plugin writers who never left us (Dpont, LightWolf, Hurley, Viktor, Pictrix, Art, Sensei.....of course mighty swede Walfdirson..and many others )

Thanks guys, great resource!

And thanks, Mike, of course!!

Now I may be asking for too much, but a download version would be really handy.

That's not a bad idea. It's not a short document so it would be a bit of an undertaking. I can look into that if there's more interest. I'm going through learning LScript anyway so it would only serve as more motivation for me to read it.

I also would appreciate a downloadable version, as I am not always online and welcome "local" reference materials. WITH a little effort on my part, DUH??!! I found a downloadable archive on Mike Green's site at the following link, http://www.mikegreen.name/Lscripts.html Under Lscript Reference is a listing for "Downloadable LScript Zip." Thank you again Mike Green.

<Brief derail>
Given how knowledgeable Mike Green is about LScript in general, I would welcome any efforts he could give to updating the Surpasses LScript program to work with 10.1. It is available to interested parties, and I know that Matt has expressed interest. I have looked at the source but get stuck way to quickly with error messages that I can't track down.... mostly I assume because of my lack of LScript knowledge.
Similar efforts to Amleto would be welcome. It works fine for me in 10.1 but I have a licensed version, but the updated script works fine. It would be a welcome addition to the Lightwave toolkit.
I can't believe that Newtek hasn't jumped in on these???
<End Derail>

Thank you Mike Green for all your contributions.

Thank you for all your kind words, I'm just trying to give something back to the community!

Again, thanks a lot, man!

Is this up to date with all current LScript commands?

I haven't updated it with 10 commands yet, but it should be up to date for 9.6.

Four posts back (PaulHart) I went off on a "derail" wondering out loud if you might find it interesting to take a look at the Surpasses source code. As I stated, the author (Lukasz Pazera) has offered it to interested coders for LScript, and Matt (of recent Newtek affiliation) expressed interest in a separate thread, stating he would be tackling this on his own, outside of Newtek hours (curses). I took a long look at some of the files, but immediately am out of my depth with LScript. You already have a start with the LayersMC work, so understanding someone elses efforts may be possible, perhaps in collaboration with Matt???
Not expecting, since you have already given so much, but I don't know of many who are as knowledgeable on the subject..... Thank you again.
