great effort so far! Just a question here. Did you consider using real actors as opposed to 3d characters? Obviously, not now that you have done all that work, but did you consider it as an option when you were planning the movie?

The idea of the producer is doing everything in 3D, including characters. Most of the film takes place in a million years ago, and all the characters would be similar to Neanderthals (too much makeup). In addition, it is more fun to do all in 3d, do not you think?.
Really that's the challenge, we are only three people making the movie. :o

 Fantastic work guys. Just the three of you? Some excellent rendering in there, just love the lighting and shading.
What is your workflow for the animation? MOCAP I take it?
I'd love to hear more about how you are creating this. Seriously this is good work, keep it up.

Dave.

We're using mocap system because the production time is less than a year for a duration of approximately 40 minutes. This month we finished the animation and began to prepare the final renders. As curiosity I'll tell you that the teaser renderings took less than a minute (each image
) in HD resolution ;) (soon, we will tell you some tricks).

Great stuff. I like the trees in the end, especially with the wind.

Good Job!

Great work! you know there's a problem with realistic animated people, in this case I think it's well animated. And also the first think to catch my eye was the camera direction.

żTres? three people to produce 40 minutes? amazing!

40 minutes in 1 year with 3 people is really impressive. what can be produce if you were 200???

rendering isnt perfect, shaders are sometime cheap but its just a matter of time and money i think!

keep it up

great work

A little bit off topic - but I really like the soundtrack and mix. The strings behind the lady's voice sound great

Thanks, the soundtrack is performed by the composer Pedro Contreras " www.pedrocontreras.es ". We have previously worked with him in the animated movie "Carthagonova" and I can say that their work is really great.
