Where do you get the “plans” for your cars? I know there is that one website with various blueprints, but what if they don’t have what you want?

Ive been looking for a 66 fastback mustang, and actually went out and bought a plastic model. (having my brother-in-law put it together, he liked doin that stuff.. and I'd probally ruin the model)

Well, here is probably the most common website:

http://www.suurland.com/

Buying a model like you did is also good.

Don't forget that google image search is your friend.

Car dealerships usually won't give you a hard time about taking pictures of the car, especially if you tell them you're thinking of buying one...;)

Yea, thats the website I was thinking of.. They just didn't have what I was looking for.

My problem is that I want to create some models of good ole classic american musclecars.. kind of hard to find a dealership like that.. and if there was one around here, Id be in trouble :D

Try buying a plastic model kit and you'll have excellent reference material. That and a digital camera and you're all set :)
