View Full Version : Animation resolution question...

Hey people I'm creating an animation to be played directly on computers, no NTSC or HD requirements. What is the most widely used computer resolution? 1024 x 768 seems kind of small but there seems no clear cut "winner" at the higher resolutions especially with all the 16:9 and 10 monitors out there today. If you were creating an animation to be played via Quicktime or Windows Media Player, what res would you create to? Thanks.

I think 1280 x 720 is a good bet. Nice HD size.

I was about to reccomend 720p also. It is a good size that is large enough to please those with larger screens but small enough to send and distribute easily.
