Hi guys.

I did a BIG mistake and mirrored a model on top of itself way too many times. I had no idea it was overlayed so many times until I started trying to texture it.

I think it's too late to try and go back and erase all the extra faces now. THis is the model.

Is there a way that I can just merged all the overlayed faces into one face? I know it doesn't look like anything's overlayed, but that's just because everything is sitting directly on top of each other. Please help, thanks.

It happens, just merge points, then unify polygons.

Sojust do that without selecting anything and it should be ok? Thanks.

If you don't have anything selected you'll do that operation on everything in your layer. If you just want to do that on specific polys then you should select just the ones you want. But since you have polys sitting on top of polys that's probably going to be difficult and it sounds like you need to do that on your whole model.
