Hi there :)
So, I continue my fight with plastic bottle. I have to do plastig bottle with grooves it can't be made by lathe. I don't know other way. only lathe or bump. So I choose bump. I tried and tried with bump and... result below.

It's not bad but my brand manager still don't like it.
Below is her reference:

Of course I mean grooves.
First both was made by using bump. The last one I modeled. But it was easy because I can used (lathe).
I know, I should try modeled that or try with displacement map but I don't know how.. :( Maybe there is some option to make visible grooves on the back side of bottle by bump. Is the possible?

Any one can help me? Probably by finding for me some tutorial about bump or displacement map or maybe about other way to do something like this ?

Any help is very ..e.. helpful :)

ps. Partly it is the same object, with the same setup for plastic, air, fluid etc. For first two I addition used reflection and refraction spherical map with hdr.

I would use TrueArt's Wrinkle http://wrinkle.trueart.pl
which is available alone, and together with TrueArt's Modeling Pack http://modelingpack.trueart.eu

Ok, I saw on this webpage. Look's nice but there were only simple shapes. Can I use some ..hm.. like in bump some map for make a grooves?

For making bumps there is another TrueArt's Modeling Pack tool TrueBump http://truebump.trueart.pl
You can paint bumps on geometry using Airbrush.

maybe you can subdivide the bottle a lot and in the deform tab in object properties select
"enable bump" and give it some value.

Sensei, there is any demo of this plug-in? I mean TrueBump?

What exactly is she objecting to?

For she, the backside grooves makes transparency in this bottle (I mean in third bottle). Maybe grooves in my new (first two) bottle will works in the same way under condition, that they will be part of surface (now they are bump).

what I also see are the blurred refractions on your bottles. That doesn't help to make it look more like the reference. Maybe you're using a blurred background.
In the reference I can see the grooves in the back and in yours we can't.
