We recorded some footage yesterday but are not sure how to get it into the Tricaster. I saw some threads, somewhat dated and did see the codec package Jason posted in May and we are looking into that. Any helpful hints would be appreciated. The camera is a Canon VIXIA HF M32

The best solution would be to convert the .mts file to something more standard for editors... quicktime (.mov) or a windows codec (.avi) would play better on a TC.

I think Newtek's stance is that software like that should not be installed on the TC box, but on an external computer, and then imported via network or jump drive into the TC...

I just had a project that was brought to us as an .M2T file and I had to convert it to quicktime to import it to Final Cut Pro. The computer had lots of work to do, but I just sat back and watched...
