Hello everyone,

how to put an object on top of another surface in a precise way? There a way to do this automatically, maybe using collisions?

explain "precise way". There are many plugins that do it, you can use sticky or dynamics like you said.

I would recomend the on Move plugin from pictrix(sp_onmove?)
As mentioned in one of the links above, thatīs probably what you want.

works in modeler only thou and only for 32 bit systems.

Thank you for the suggestion.
Assuming i have a spaceship flying and i want to put the ship on a rock or a land surface, there's a way to do this automatically without sink inside the land or rock surface?

Thank you

lower the landing gear, lower throttle once landing commence:D

Probably just manually keyframethe spaceship to match the ground, more advanced would be to rig your spaceship or vehicle, with some nulls and perhaps add motion modifiers like textured motion.

probably not exactly what you need, but might be helpful anyway.
Thereīs also a plugin called vehicle rigger..with ground interaction.

There was also a special vehicle plugin featuring flying vehicles and land vechicles called reelmotion, wich can be hard to get hold of, donīt know it still exists for purchase.

OK, you were talking about animation. AS Prometheus said, using nulls maybe a solution. You should try Vertigo http://www.lwplugindb.com/Plugin.aspx?id=7ebba3ff
