Boston does suck...I thought they have been doing pretty well. Last night's game could have gone either way at any moment. At the very least, Tim Thomas is unbelievable.

Yes it seems that way. :D It looks like this is already the 2nd thread with the title by that same person only hours apart. :grumpy:

Hey sorry about the non Lightwave post but I "HAD TO".
I posted "Go Canucks" on my companys employee forum for the first 2 games and we won and I didn't post for the next 2 and we lost so I "HAD" to post it somewhere and I knew the Lightwave community was cool and that the moderator has a sense of humour so i went for it.(due to my companys nationwide labour disruption the forum there is getting a little cranky)
The atmoshpere here in the Vancouver area is unbelievable!
So moderator willing I will Post" Go Canucks" here again on Monday and "Boston Sucks" during the game, because after that we scored!
Cheers
Chris
(drinking beer is our other national sport you can support the Canucks by hoisting one in whatever country you reside:thumbsup:

I wouldn´t mind seeing canucks lifting the trofee, I would like to see the Sedins stepping up a little more thou, but I suppose that in these tight games it depends on the whole team, and anyone could be the game winning factor.

... and that the moderator has a sense of humourAnd occasionally gives bonus points to people who employ the "u" in "humour", "neighbour", "favour", etc. (while confessing that when I'm feeling lazy I don't bother).

(due to my companys nationwide labour disruption the forum there is getting a little cranky)Canada Post?

The Twins are getting "beaten up" pretty good but that just leaves our other players open to score.

The next game is going to be very, very interesting.

As long as that means the Bruins win, I'm fine with that, even if just to see this great series go to seven games.
Of course I'll take a Bruins Stanley Cup victory too. ;)

So, what are the canuckian cats like? Do they wear little red and white sweaters? That would be sooo precious!!!

Ahhhh yes soccer. The game where grow men act like children falling to the ground holding their shins (that unseen demons are chewing on by their reactions) from hits that never happened or at best were taps a crippled mouse could shrug off.

That preety much ruins the game mikala.

But i must say I play basketball and at least here i also see lots of acting talents for the referee audience. But yeah, no one faints better than a futebol (yeah soccer..) player :D

Rumour has it the Canucks suffer from homesickness to an extraordinary degree. We shall see if they can recover. The CGC, this morning reports on post game festivities as follows:

Vancouver police reported no major incidents, an outcome which might have been partly due to the ordered shutdown of 18 private and government-run liquor stores in the downtown area.

The order from the provincial government followed police reports that during and after Game 5 on Friday — which the Canucks won — police and security personnel made about 3,000 seizures of alcoholic beverages. Seizures around Game 4 on Wednesday — a loss — totalled about 300.

One suspects the seizures may, in fact have dropped for other reasons. A great deal of misery-drowning may have taken place much earlier in the evening, leaving little to confiscate; or it may be that sympathetic gendarmes took pity on the mourners and turned a blind eye.

What surprises me most is the other so called Canadian cities/teams whining about Vancouver in the playoffs after their teams failed (let me repeat...Failed to get there) to get there.
Sour grapes from my point of view. Especially from that fool from the Oilers. His team was a farce ALL season. Oh and did I mention they failed to get to the playoffs?
Come on Canada! Whatever happened to cheering for the home team?

I just listened to an interview with Johnnie Bauer - 4 cups for the Leafs when he was in goal, no mask. They used to hold the game up while they put stitches in his face, then continue.

Kid Rock, Tesla, Steve Vai, Roger Daltrey, Chris Cornell......I couldn't imagine seeing them any place else, they ALL were AWESOME.
(BTW if anyone cares the Commodore is about a 1000 person club with a "bouncy" floor and about the coolest place to see a band)

Just saw the crowds in the streets watching the game in Fan Zone area.
Over 100 thousand sardines packed in there. People are getting claustrophobic and jumping the fences....Crazy!
By the way that number is about 25 percent of the Vancouver's population. Again nuts!
