I would like to know if Modeler can create scripts like Layout.

LScript Commander records actions so it's easy to make quick scripts that can be useful for work in Layout.
I just wondered if Modeler can do the same?

It would be great if it does/ could as that would mean being able to record the making of a model and make it into a quick script for re-making the model at any time.

No. Not possible.

Thanks for the info evenflcw :)

It would be good if it could though (maybe a feature request for a future version of LightWave)

This is all obvious. To you, to me, to NT, everybody.

But it's not a trivial task to add it after the fact. Currently all functions and plugins in Modeler are black boxes that just tell Modeler to modify the mesh. Modeler is unaware of the settings used in the plugins. But for such a system to work Modeler has to be able to record those settings. So this implies modifying the core, the sdk, and rewrite all functions and plugins. I think it's a lost cause to request it for Modeler.

But make sure NT provide proper macro recording or toolpipe capabilities in Core if you can.
