View Full Version : Chroma/Alfa Key for Front Projection

Ok so here's the situation......

I have a LW 3D Lab (see pic) That I created and some Syntheyes tracked greenscreen footage. The idea is to place me behind the table but infront of the screens. In addition I want to see the video refracted through the glass table. So I figured I would create an object and front project the footage on that object. This worked really well, in the camera view the footage and lab match very nicly.....Accept the green screen still shows behind me. So the question is: How do I make the object and greenscreen dissapear but keep the footage of me? If I just use transparency obvioulsly the whole thing dissapears.

There was a similar thread here (http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79013) that talks about alfa channel masks but it lacks in detail. Because I am self taught if someone could take the time to break down the process I promise them 1000 Karma points :D
