Sorry Lee and Larry there is just time for a small Training review over here, damn it’s already 4:00 am !!! :(

Just need to say the training was great and I really enjoyed it, no I didn’t mean “en joint it,” damn I’m funny  , I really learned a lot.

The 10 h bus ride to Amsterdam really sucked but the training was great and at the end it was really worth the whole efforts.
The training took place in a rented flat in Amsterdam, really private atmosphere, free food and drinks , Lee was equipped with his Laptop and a video beamer, yap that’s all, no private workstations.

Lee showed examples the whole two days (10 am – 6 pm), the examples where great.
Ok I need to admit the examples looked pretty stupid, but you need to figure out the limits in Lightwave on you own projects, after you attended the training !!!
It’s not like, hey lets model a human character in two days, everybody follow me !!!

Go check out these tutorials, the examples where pretty similar.

The pictures are from Jonas (Swedish guy), thanks again !!!

AND AGAIN !!!

Everybody should attend these trainings, it is great also for advanced Lightwave users, and I will defiantly attend the next European training… :D

Perhaps you could take advantage of all the nice hike and bike trails in Austin.

Cheers,

But I'm never IN Austin!!!

Seriously - no excuse, really - but I have been on the road almost nonstop for the past 2 years or so. I'm rarely in Ausin, but that's changing...

Yes you do seem to be away alot like a rock star on the road. :D

Maybe you start doing video conferencing over the internet.

you remember the selecting sliders "issue."

You can middle-drag select over the slider or you can
middle-double click on the slider to activate it.

Hehe, I know I'm a smartass. :D

There never was a user meeting over here in Berlin, we need to organize that in the future, a German Lightwave user meeting would be nice Idea too, if you need help.
What’s up in Duisburg, there is not much work here in Berlin.

Hehe, thanks about the shirt offer I really need to get a Lightwave shirt for the next maya user meeting. ;)

Great Lee, so the next Lightwave Seminar is in German ???
I’m glad you didn’t mentioned Lederhose or these two infamous “German bad history words” I always heard in Kansas !!! :(

@lee

It's great!

How many people show up at the user's group meetings?

If we can get a lot of people, I'll reduce the price...I'd rather have more people...

With your Rock-star type travelling status, you could take up heroin. I hear that works pretty good for weight issues. All those dope-head rocker guys are pretty skinny.
Plus I hear you can get some pretty good stuff in Amsterdam and Germany.
You could do LW seminars from the red light districts that we only hear about over here.

I think I read somewhere that these LW training seminars were going to end. IS this true? If so, does that mean that we will not get this for LW8? If these tours do continue, do you plan to be in Seattle again. I caught you there in December last year.
