Very nice work so far. Is this your own design, as it doesn't look like other drop pods I've seen before (I have friends who are into their Warhammer :D)?

The modelling on this is a good start, but I think you could use a little more work smoothing down the corners, and giving the thing a more consistent look and feel. It could do with some corner rounding on the larger elements, to help with the scale.

With this being a radial clone, you should do some full maps for it, and you will only have to properly do 1/5th of it, put some good dirt and grunge into the corners and have lots of chips on the edges. These things are well used, and dropped through from space, so it should be a bit singed on the bottom! :D

Hey Tobian.
- No i modeled it following this video on painting a drop pod: (With a few changes of my own as well)
- Yeah i probably should smooth those things down :)
- I was going to do UV maps but i was a bit intimidated haha
- Lastly, i tried to get a scorched look with weight maps and such but didn't go to well haha .

Well just worry about one thing at a time. Good luck, and keep it up, this is a very strong model so far! :)

Ok here's my attempt of UV mapping my Drop Pod
I UV mapped all of the pod apart from the chairs and the center thing lol.
I couldn't thin of how to texture them with a UV map.
Anyway here it is:
