There is a poll for using Lightwave in the community section of these boards. For those of you who never venture out, it's not so bad out there!

Do some Mac users really only use the Mac section of the LW forums?

This is an old poll.

Windows users have been voting on it for months.

Maybe it's better to start a fresh new poll to make it an even start.

lol, Beam, it's a poll - not a race. :p Whether you vote at the 'beginning' of the polls creation, or the 'end' doesn't change the results. As I'm sure you know, it's based on what you vote for, not when you vote for it. :D

I'm not trying to pick on you Beam, I just thought it sounded funny the way you worded it like it was a race. ;)

I admit I am a bad forum user. I generally hang out here and in the gallery. I'm better at mac specific questions, and I tend to have a grasp of the issues plaguing mac LW newbies. even if they haven't learned any of the language, and cannot adequately describe the issues they are having, it is usually easy to understand (for me) where they are coming from.

in the PC forum, the language is different enough to be alien to me, and the community forum seems redundant to me. of course thats counter-intuitive to a more LW centric person, bc these are LW forums after all and not Mac forums, but I am biased, and freely admit it.

Hey eblu yeah actually on the old forum site I only used the mac and gallery section. But there is lots of good stuff in the other sections.

For instance in the community forum today Olmirad posted some very cool HDRI probes.
