View Full Version : FBX LW 10 doesn't export Lights and Camera?

Not sure if I'm not exporting correctly but LW10 FBX doesn't support lights and camera, or something is broken. I have to set it to an older FBX v6 to get the lights to show in Max. Anyone else having this issue?:help:

Oh and why are the colors of lights and values different?:confused:
Boooo! I wish the "IO" was better with Max.

Works with Maya 2011. Lights with correct colour comes in, as well as cameras. That said though, FBX only seem to support Distantlights and Pointlights. All other types of lights comes in as Pointlights and the names on these lights are not preserved.

Yeah, I new the area lights would be converted to omni/point lights. I wish FBX worked better with standard textures. Maybe I should try to Maya to Max, if it works better with Maya. How r the textures to Maya? Diffuse, Spec, Relef, Trans all go over?
