Never had a problem with this before albeit a very occasional user.

Drawn a bezier shape in top view, then freeze and extract, but the extruded shape is hollow inside. Just spent hours watching tutorials and no mention of this. Any ideas please ?

thanks, answer must be so simple...

quick and ugly: just select the points at the hollow end and make a poly.

They may even be in order, that would save some time.

Yep, any extrusions are "hollow". Likewise if you extend it, the initial shape will be left "empty".
In situations like this, I tend to select the base poly, flip, copy, flip, extrude, paste, merge points. That gives the sort of result I'm usually after.

If modeller had a macro recorder (LScript commander) like Layout had, it would be so much easier, but alas, no, after all, it's modeller, it doesn't get updates. ;)
