View Full Version : Lightwave 9 license is no longer working

Hi.

Everything was working fine until I downloaded Lightwave 10 and tried to register it as a trial. I don't know if only one lightwave thing can only be there at a time, but when I open LW9, it says to enter my product key. I enter it and it says restart to exit discovery mode. But when I restart, it just says the same thing over again. When I open LW10, it jut says it can't find the license key. If I go and try and put that one in, it doesn't do anything at all.

What happened?

Did you put your 10 keys into your 9 license file? The 10 keys are different than the 9 ones. Also the license file for 10 goes in a different place than the one for 9. The license for 9 goes into the Programs folder. The license for 10 goes into a license folder that's in a .NewTek folder in your users folder.

The other thing is enter in your key through notepad and not the LW license utility.
