Something about the petals feels too paper thin, I don't exactly know what you'd do to fix this, but that's the visual impression I get.

cool image, but i think the main problem in modeling flowers is to get the meat of the petals just right- I think in ordert to acchive this you cant use one poly thickness- Petals are thicker on the bottom and have thickness variations that are impossible to mimmick with just a single poly thickness...

How did you make the grass? Grass maker, sasquatch? Or was it modeled?

grass is a standard scene in full sas. give the petals more thickness, give the surfaces some bump maps. the string doesn't look real enough (if you go for photoreal). Try to deform the string a bit, and, when you're busy with that, make it a bit thicker also, because this flower will snap with the smallest amount of wind.

Make also some transparancy maps for the petals, there is not a flower in the world that isn't damaged and has no holes in the leafs.

Well... i'd like to see how you improve the model, and make some nice renders to post here! :)
