What are the best settings to use when rendering animation ? by that I mean things we don't need to render in LW because they can be added later in EyeonFusion. I'm mostly doing broadcast design's.

Don't render to animation straight out of LightWave, always render to stills. Use PNG as has been suggested in another thread.

PNG or TGA sequences. Or are you talking about "render" settings?

depends. say you render a project at 640x480 yea its a smaller screen
size but you have less pixels to work with to make the image which may
cause you to use a higher AA setting to get things like edges and small
details to look good. if you render the same thing in say 1920x1080, it
may take a little longer in rendering the size but you will most likely not
need a high AA setting as you would with 640x480, which could save time.

just make sure you dont scale up from the original size of your outside elements for fusion.
