I just bought a new Dell computer studio 9100 Windows 7 with a NVIDIA GE FORCE 6310 512M DDR3,and 12 GB of RAM. I was wondering if that card can be better, as I am not too sure of it. It seems that my older computer with a NVIDIA card, 128 MB geForce 8300GS was doing better in resolution?...Then I thought that maybe because I am using my old computer's monitor to save money could be the problem. I was thinking of getting a ADA Radion (spelling incorrect), but I believe I heard some cons on it.

I want the best in out resolution for my graphics, so I am open for suggestions, even though it could be the way I have my monitor setup that is causing me to think my out resolution is not up to par.

You need to tell us about the monitor. If we know the resolution it can run at we can better help you, but for LightWave use, steer clear of ATI graphics cards - the Radeon you mentioned - ATI's OpenGL drivers are not as evolved as NVidia's even though their game performance is usually on a par.
