Quick render for one of our greenhouse research programmes. Made in 1 day from scratch. DP Instance saved the day on the vegetation :)

I wanted to go for a bit of an older style, hand-drawn/airbrushed look on the greenhouses.

Pretty smashing. What were render times, and any post?

Very nice!

Looks good. Especially with the quick turnaround.

Rendertime was about 3 hours for an image 4 times the size of what you see here. There's quite a bit of PS.

I'm not too happy with the tiling on the bridge, but yeah. Quick turnaround :)

A nice and simple style, very good for competitions. Only the bridge in the foreground doesn't really fit.

I always loved this kind of style! Excelent work! (except for the bridge... )

for just one day of work this is a brilliant result. Wished I would be that fast, very well done!

Just curious, wouldn't it be faster to add the vegetation in PS or in Piranesi ?

Piranesi, I don't know, but if you can do it in 3D, it's faster... you trade computer render time for human operator time, and my time is thin these days. I have all of that vegetation in nice libraries and all I have to do is spray some points.

There's a few plants in the foreground that are PS.

Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen! I think I found them :D:D:D

Great stuff as always Tom

Yay! You found Sir Archibald, the kitten :)

Man, how could you leave those tiles. ;)
Nice lightning!

I PS-ed them out in the final version :)

Got two interior shots as well I made yesterday. I'll see if I can upload them one of these days. They're not so hot though... had to really skimp on the quality for the deadline :/

Sometimes I do, yes, Ingo... if you are very bored, perhaps you should send me an email.
