Does anyone know of its possible to have individual colors for particles with the emitters.

I know you can adjust the color of particles through things such as 'particle age' etc. But these solutions tend to a generate a spectrum of color across the broad scope of the emitter.

What I want is unique individual particle colors....Think colored confetti.

I did confetti by using a cloned emitter then changed the color of each.

I think...it's been about five or six years since I did that one.

EDIT...WAIT!!! Never mind. I created colored pieces of confetti (one of each color) and did it with FXLinker. Sorry.

Random 'clips' on sprites-

Otherwise you might clone your emitter once for each different color, randomize, and divide the birth rates accordingly.

You could try using the DPKit Texture node editor
in HV Shading Color Layer and the Particle Info node,
select the emitter,

For customizing color, replace the Color Tool node
by a Gradient node.

Or try the ParticlePaint, texture or node,
