Bought a new Alienware MX 11 laptop...has no number pad keys. Is there anyway to use the modeler view presets without the number pad?

Or get something like Authotkey to remap or create new combinations. Like mapping Ctrl+j to be Numpad1 etc. It's not as comfortable as having actual number pad, with properly aligned keys, but it's much better than having to switch Numlock on and off statically.

Autohotkey...of course! I use it to set up my Lightwave Navigation to mimic Maya. Completely forgot about it...need to install it on the new laptop anyway.

Your laptop doesn't have keypad keys via a Function (Fn) key combo? That can be awkward, but it's probably work.

Neither my work issued IBM Thinkpad or my Alienware MX11 have (Fn) number keys. My older Dell XPS 17" laptop has them.

How it works with the function key might differ on different systems. Some I understand can just hold down the function key and hit a numeric key for a dynamic (numlock) switch. Others have to toggle num lock on/off statically. It is also not unusual for the function key to be implemented in hardware only, meaning the OS is unaware of it. From the OS perspective you have a full size keyboard.
