Yep, Red Hat sells Linux and several others companies sell different flavors of open/free software or parts of it, Bullet engine anyone?. Nothing wrong with that, unles they modify the code and don't provide the source code.

I think Redhat mention somewhere on their website that the operating system is based on Linux .. that's a pretty big detail ;)

I think technically they are selling the training with the software. Training certainly worth something.

But yeah, it is shady for sure that they don't seem more up front that it is Blender software.

It doesn't matter really. I know the wording of this site is very similar to an infomercial but look at projects like libreoffice, a fork of openoffice. Same software, different name.

Yeah, they are selling a bundle, tutorials and support, not just Blender.

But thats just it titus Libreofice was the old team from open office and to buy back there freedom, they restarted open offices. Also they aren't selling lebreoffice.
The thing about the video is also that they show lots of different works of art. Some of them aren't even in the blender app. so while they might be re-branding Bender. They don't have rights to some of the art work they claim to have done for the training.

Not even the Seth is real. They ripped that off.

Not sure, all the screenshot are not from them.
Do a research on "blender" in google and you find all the screenshot they use.

Example;

I'm not sure what distribution license Blender has in place, but it's time to crack down on this nonsense. Training, yes...pretending an app is yours, slimy at the very least.
