View Full Version : Adding faces to 1 point polys

Any idea how to create a sphere or cube on a 1 point poly? I have a cloud of these that I thought would be interesting to use with Turbulence FD but TFD requires faces. I thought I remembered doing this in the past.

Edit: Maybe not the best way, but I think I found a solution, using LWCad. Extend the points a bit to make 2 point polys, then use Poly To Curve in LWCad, then Profiler with a square selected to make everything cubes.

fxlinker? Or do you have to convert the one point polys to nulls first?

I think they would have to be nulls or particles first. That was my first thought as well since I've used that before for jobs.

in Modeler: Point Clone Plus

in Layout: Use FX linker. use an object to generate particles for each point on the mesh... then FX link whatever object you want

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
