12-23-2010, 09:23 AM
Through two donations, my non-profit Two Trees Inc. (www.twotreesinc.org) obtained VT [3] equipment, SX-8 BOBs, PC computers with raid assemblies, Amiga Video Toasters and Flyers, and Amiga computers. As we check the equipment out, it will be put up for sale to raise money for our charitable activities. Technical details and pictures of the equipment can be sent upon request.

So far, this is the VT [3] equipment that has been checked out and is ready for sale:

3 - VT [3] cards @ $650 (with standard cables and software)
2 VT [3] daughter cards @ $250
2 SX-8 Break out boxes @ $900
1 set of SX-8 cables @ $100
2 VT [3] manuals @ $100
3 VT computer workstations with raid assemblies, keyboards, mice (Windows 2000) @ $150 (VT cards extra, but can be installed). CRT monitors can be included at no additional cost.

And here is the Amiga and Video Toaster equipment that has been checked out and is ready for sale (monitors, keyboards, mice not included):

1 Amiga 2500 with Video Toaster and TBC boards @ $400 (great condition)
1 Amiga 1200 with power supply @ $200 (great condition)
2 Amiga 3000 computers (NOTE: hard drives on both computers have check-sum errors, but are otherwise clean. Very detailed pictures of the internal electronics are available) @ $200
1 Amiga 4000 (clean, in great condition, loaded with software) @ $900

We also have this equipment and will have it up for sale after we check it out:

2 Amiga Video Toaster Flyers (4000T) towers with external audio and video hard drives
1 Amiga Video Toaster Flyer (standard 4000) with external audio and video hard drives
1 Amiga 1080 monitor
1 Amiga keyboard
2 Amiga mice
Misc DVD players, speakers, VHS decks

Shipping is extra and buyers will have to pay for shipping.

ABOUT ME: I have been a NewTek owner and user since the Digi-View days when I started the film/video/animation program at Edinboro University of PA. I was a beta tester for the Amiga Video Toaster Flyer and am now, in retirement, a beta tester for Speed Edit. I own my own VT [5] and Speed Edit workstations and continue to produce independent video projects.

I am in need of one of your sx-8's, what do you mean by sx-8 cables? Is this the sister card? Basically, I need a whole workable sx-8 to ad to my vt[3]

For the SX-8 to work, you need to attach a daughter card to the VT-3 card. Four cables are then attached between both the VT-3 and daughter card to the SX-8.

basically I am looking for a vt card plus daughter card and the software....

let me know how much and is there a direct email I can contact you at?

Since the daughter card is needed for the SX-8, we do want to sell those together. We also want to keep the VT card and software together

Here are the prices...

SX-8 BOB ($900) + Daughter card ($250) = $1,150
VT[3] card, software and cables = $650

SX-8 cables = $100
VT[3] manual = $100

The prices may be high, but it's for a good cause based on what our non-profit does for disadvantaged communities and people.
