View Full Version : Reflection to the ball how ?

I try to build like this now

I have the ball and the light but how can I do so the light reflect to the ball so you can se the colure etc like the image you se to the url.
I have try with lott of option but I cant rebuild this reflection to the ball
For alll the help and answer

Hi Nightrider,

You can't have such reflexions by working only with mesh and light, you also need an hdr map in the background in order to reflect it on your meshes.
You may load it directly as a backdrop image or as a texture environment.

If you haven't try it yet, I suggest you the smart_IBL plugin, which could be a great help. But better try by yourself with a single hdr map in order to see how it works. :)

You may know more about it here:http://www.hdrlabs.com/sibl/. Lightwave plugin is in the software section, and sIBL archive contain lot of really nice hdr map (free) to begin with. :)

Thx I found that and installed now I try this tonight
and se if i can do this bequse I have prob to get that to work

My lights is ok now but I have try with some background images and that whas noot good its lok like crap.
If some one can help me out with this or point me to video toturles about this staff so I can watch and learn I cant se how I shuld do with this lok to this images

All this with the light I have created with lgw 9.6
