I wasnt sure what he ment. Then he told me that there were these so called "3D printers"
So i was strate on google haha.

The first 3d printed item I saw was about 25 years ago. One of my customers showed me this plastic prototype product. I just couldn’t work out how the item was made. Impossible to machine, cast , fabricate in parts & join. I was at a complete loss of any ideas at the time.

This might help

I know 3d world offered having a model of your choice printed in 3d as a competition prize some time ago so I would imagine it's not particularly cheap, but I suppose it depends on what you consider cheap lol.

These days you can print in color, metals (silver/gold etc) and it is quite fun. We did a few and prices are easy to derive. It goes by volume thus weight. Ow and you can upload them to your "shop" etc.

3dart to part sounded very interesting when they had itīs old site up, somewhere along the road the presentation of that site was changed and was utterly bad to browse trough and less ateractive, and they couldnīt accept any other payment than credit cards so I just lost interest.

the base pricing seems nice but together with shipping overseas to the north
it would be to much.
