Hi guys,

OK, I'm using 9.6.1 on a Mac and I'm having an issue with the bones retaining their deforming ability. I can edit and move joints for awhile and then the mesh stops responding to the bones when I scan or play the timeline. I can't nail it down to a specific event that may be triggering the disconnect nor can I find a way to recover from the problem. I've tried re-resting all the bones and checked to make sure they are still activated and that 'enable deform' is activated also. I'm using a BVH file for the bone rotations if that may be an issue (don't know why it would be but I do not write code). Anybody else ever encounter this problem? The only solution at this point is to re-import the BVH skeleton and begin from scratch. Not getting much done so thanks in advance to the responses.

9.6.1 is still in beta I believe. So that might be part of the problem. What if you do this in 9.6?

Try posting this to the beta section too.

Layout indicates that I'm running 9.6 not 9.6.1. Sorry about the mix up.
