View Full Version : VFXCast video problem or server down?

11-28-2010, 08:09 AM
From at least one month I can not see any video at VFXCast: www.vfxcast.com

I'm wondering if it's due because of the site is closing, or there is a server problem, or an ISP problem, or at least a problem with the player.

Any feedback?

I get no video, so it's not just you.

I have the ads blocked. Might be because of that.

Well... I can't watch any video's there either... not even the ones that vfxcast.com says "are being watched right now". I don't think it's an ad blocking thing, I thought maybe it was acting weird on google chrome so I tried it on mozilla firefox and still no video... just black frame

No video here either.
I do notice where there should be an ad banner it says FORBIDDEN.

The rest of the page loads fine.

The text "Forbidden" is an error 403 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_403), that is not due by the advertising system with which is related, but maybe no ability to read the content, or that was disabled ...
The latest video added seems was the 30th August 2010.
Well, checking a little bit more make me to think something was disabled, I can go further and dowload any video. But maybe the no video streaming is releted to the traffic, as say the admin' last post on his blog. I had already sent a message to the admin, one week ago, and waiting for a reply. Hoping he is checking the site time to time.
Maybe I'll try to use the contact form or searching more for a contact.
