I had my honeymoon trip in Norway in december 2005, with the Hurtigruten boats. Started from Bergen and disembarked at Kirkenes. We got lots of Northern Lights after crossing the polar circle, that was pretty magical.
Unfortunately, my wife camera was not suited to shoot these lights.
Your video brings to me great souvenirs anyway.
As seen from the sea, Norway is a beautiful country.

The most amazing thing I have ever seen. It lasted about 2 hours starting from 10pm.

The colours are a lot stronger than in real life due to the film collecting colour rather than light. Scanned on a Nikon 8000.

Attached: Shot on that old stuff called film! From Mt Anne in Tasmania about 20 years ago.

If you have the 'Video DownloadHelper' add on installed in Firefox, it will rip the video from the website.

I live in Ohio, US [right on Lake Erie] and when I was a kid [probably 45 years or so ago] I saw a very rare occurrence of an Aurora Borealis from our back yard!! Can't remember what time of year it was though. It looked absolutely amazing and I'll remember the sight for the rest of my life.

If anyone is looking for an interesting book on & around this subject, The Sun Kings ISBN 13: 978-0-691-12660-9

The magnetic storms of 1859 were about 4 times the size of the storms we had in 2003, which did a stack of damage to satellites and electrical infrastructure.
