Hello
I'm looking for good models / objects for Lightwave. Has been out on the web and searched and found some but I find it hard to find LWO object. Would be grateful if someone could help me with this and give me some advice.

Best Regards

Peter

What about the content that ships with the software?

Indeed, I am looking for office models, object or finished scenes.
Have any one worked with Archmodels obj files, is it just to put them i a scen and they will work fine, textures, maps, material.

you can filter to just see/list/search for lwo and lws

please note that lightwave can open obj files as well as .3ds dxf and a host of file types including stl.

There are a load of objects here on the forum, I cant recall off hand if any of them are office related.
There are over 140 objects and scenes for free at http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101465

The Daz/Poser universe can also be exported as obj for LW.

The problem with a lot of the bought objects is that 19 out 20 just never look the part. You will most likely find that you only ever use a few from a set.

It's not that difficult to make the items you need, you just need to build up each object in a lot of simple shapes, or splines etc.

Evermotion does a lot of good architectural models, they mostly concentrate on max and vray now but most sets also have OBJ, 3DS and DXF...currently 50% off too
